Meg has a Bachelors Degree in Nursing and in Psychology. She has worked for decades helping others in a variety of healthcare and academic settings. She also obtained her Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration and also completed a Certification in Advanced Nursing Administration and completed a Certification Program in Transformational, Solution Focused and Life Coaching. She has chosen her specialty in Career and Leadership Coaching. She also finds incredible joy in conducting workshops and seminars customized to work groups needs.
Meg’s background fits perfectly with these choices. She has taught life skills, stress management, and conducted life and health coaching for decades. She also has been a leadership mentor and coach for dozens of individuals throughout her leadership career and finds true joy in helping others succeed. She has over 25 years of experience in healthcare leadership and administration in both large academic organizations as well as smaller organizations. She has started new programs, redesigned programs and has taught during her entire career. She was on Mayo Clinic’s Speaker’s Bureau for over 15 years and enjoyed traveling around the United States speaking on a variety of health and leadership topics. She also had the privilege to teach for Winona State University and spoke at a variety of conferences regionally and nationally throughout the years. Her leadership coaching stems from helping new and struggling leaders master the challenges of earning the trust and respect of their staff and peers, manage the political environment of both large complex organizations as well as small organizations with family like dynamics.
Meg has a very relational type approach to people and has throughout the years, which she finds part of the secret to her success. She also has found specific techniques quite effective in helping individuals to create plans and attain goals for themselves and their careers. Her insight and understanding of people have been found most helpful in those she has coached and mentored through the years. She has a coaching style that holds people accountable yet helps them feel very supported.
